Impact Maker

About the Program

Impact Maker is where Valley Leadership’s network moves from learning to doing. In this collaborative space, leaders roll up their sleeves to tackle Arizona’s most persistent challenges alongside strategic partners and community champions. By joining a dedicated Impact Team, you’ll work on the front lines of issues like education, housing, and racial justice to drive thoughtful, long-term solutions for our state.

Turn Your Leadership Into Action. The Impact Maker is Valley Leadership’s engine for statewide change. It is a collaborative space designed for leaders who are ready to move beyond the classroom and put their skills to work on the issues that matter most to Arizona.

What to Expect:

  • Real-World Problem Solving: Join forces with a network of strategic partners and community experts to chart a path toward measurable, strategic solutions.
  • Diverse Issue Teams: Choose an Impact Team that aligns with your passion. Our teams are currently working across a broad spectrum of needs, including:
    • Education & Workforce Development
    • Child Wellbeing
    • Housing & Homelessness
    • Racial Justice
    • Health Equity
  • Collaborative Spirit: You won’t work in a vacuum. Impact Maker brings together a “broad spectrum” of Arizonans to ensure that solutions are inclusive and representative of the entire state.
  • A Commitment to Doing: This isn’t just a discussion group. Drawing on the values and perspectives gained through VL, our leaders “roll up their sleeves” to engage in the actual work required to move the needle on Arizona’s public values.

Ready to roll up your sleeves? Join an Impact Team and start shaping the future of Arizona today.
